Wayne Kraper

Wayne Kraper is a digital content creator, independent publisher, and technologist based in Clayton, North Carolina. Bringing decades of technical background—including experience as an IT Network Administrator and Field Service Engineer—Wayne bridges the gap between hands-on engineering and modern digital workflows.

He is the creator and driving force behind The GCI Project (Global Crisis Index) and Wayne’s World View, where he designs, codes, and manages technical dashboards, blogs, podcasts, and short-form video channels. Utilizing a robust local software stack incorporating Python, Flask, MySQL, and advanced artificial intelligence pipelines, he explores the practical limits of automated media production.

When he isn’t architecting web applications, writing infrastructure code, or recording episodes for the Conversations with AI Show alongside his virtual co-host Jimmy Nye, Wayne stays physically active by working part time in a tire shop, managing heavy landscaping projects on his property, or spending time with his family.
